Section 10.1 Proposals for Amendments Any member at either executive committee meetings or general member meetings can propose amendments. Section 10.2 Publication and Discussion Upon hearing a proposed amendment, the Executive Committee must provide written notice of the amendments in the Engineering Building or must mail notices to all members, ten (10) days prior to the date of discussion and voting. Discussion and voting on a proposed amendment can only take place at a general meeting. Section 10.3 Ratification The constitution shall be ratified by a three-fourths vote of those members present at a general meeting. Upon passage, an amendment becomes effective as soon as the Institute Headquarters ratifies it.
